Dr. Delaney Clayton

Dr. Clayton is a Columbus, Ohio native. She graduated from Thomas Worthington High School and then went on to earn her B.A. in Biochemistry from Miami University. From there she came back home to graduate magna cum laude from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2022 where she won a Hatton award (among others during her studies).

Dr. Clayton loves forming relationships with our patients and the community we serve. “When you walk into MFD it is a welcoming and friendly environment. We have genuine and kind people here who work as a team to provide the best possible care for our patients. That’s one of the things I love about our office.”

Prior to starting in practice, Dr. Clayton was constantly involved in various research projects at both Miami University and Ohio State University, and she looks forward to building on the knowledge gained from those experiences to continue her growth both as a dentist and an individual. While she performs a wide variety of different procedures in the office, Dr. Clayton most enjoys root canals and crowns currently (which will allow us to perform many more root canals in our office rather than referring you somewhere else).

It’s not always root canals and crowns for Dr. Clayton. In fact, she has many hobbies. She is on track to read 40 books this year (!!), enjoys exploring the outdoors, excels at pickleball, and loves to cook and will make just about anything from scratch (Dr. Clayton brings a lot to the table on potluck day). She and Ben (her significant other of 10+ years) love spending time with their Cavapoo Eddie.

Dr. Clayton is a member of the Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association, and she looks forward to providing our patients with brighter, happier smiles by educating and helping them improve their oral health.
