Meet the Staff

  • Ciera
Our Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), and the head of our hygiene section, earned both her Bachelor’s degree and her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene degree from Shawnee State University. Ciera loves getting to know our patients, seeing your smiling faces, and helping to educate you on the tips and tricks that keep your smile in great shape. Ciera’s message to our patients - “Because we know how important patient education is to your oral and overall health, we make sure to keep you updated with the current methods during your office visits.” It’s not unusual to walk by the hygiene area and overhear Ciera’s excitement when a younger patient joins our “Cavity Free Club” or when a patient has returned after making a significant effort to improve their oral health. When she’s not treating patients, Ciera enjoys traveling to new places, eating great food, and spending quality time with her family and boyfriend - Nick.
  • Kelly
As a graduate of Southwestern Career Academy (in Grove City), who has been working in the dental field since 2010, Kelly really enjoys working with people and helping to better their smiles. She is our rock-star at the front desk so there’s a good chance if you’re calling in, she will be your contact person. But she also is cross-trained to help in the back when the team needs another hand, and she enjoys the occasional variety, as well. Kelly’s message to our patients - “This is a warm, friendly environment and our main focus after the actual dental care is to make sure our patients leave with a great experience.' Kelly and her husband (Alex), have their beautiful (almost 2-year-old) daughter Naiomi, in addition to 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 horses! In their free time, they enjoy the outdoors, camping, and taking Naiomi to new places so that she can experience them with the family.
  • Mike
After earning his Bachelor’s (Molecular/Cellular Biology) and Master’s (Ecology) degrees from Kent State University, our Practice Manager started his post-graduate career working as a scientist in response to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. He has since worked with and managed teams in the fields of environmental emergency response, forensic science, and healthcare. Mike has been privileged to work with people from all over the U.S. and many parts of the world, which is why he loves getting to meet and interact with all of our patients. Mike’s message to our patients - “It’s important to us that you leave our office with both the highest quality care and an experience that has you feeling like a part of our family.” Although he won’t be directly handling your dental care, Mike works to make sure our team has the needed support to best treat our patients and keep the office running smoothly. Mike was introduced to the dental field when Dr. Monica started dental school in 2010, and he has built upon his skills and knowledge since. Outside of the office, Mike, Dr. Monica, and Clara (their daughter) love spending time with friends and family, and exploring Columbus! There isn’t a splash pad or sand volleyball court he’ll shy away from, and if there’s a sporting event going on, he’s interested.
  • Rachel
Our Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) graduated from Sinclair Community College and has been working in the dental field for almost a decade. Rachel is our true Jill-of-all-trades, as she has experience from the reception area (welcoming patients, talking with insurance companies, etc.) right back to great hands-on patient care. Whether you’re scheduling an appointment, getting X-rays taken, or are in need of a filling, there’s a good chance you’ll meet Rachel during your next visit. Rachel’s message to our patients - “I’m excited to be part of a practice that truly cares about what’s best for the patient.” Rachel and her husband (Ronnie) have two amazing daughters (Kyndell and Peyton), and they all love anything to do with the outdoors! This attitude carries over to the office in Rachel’s willingness to help with a wide variety of needs for all of our patients. It's just one of the many things we love about her and it’s why she is such an asset for you as a patient.
  • Desiree
Our Dental Assistant graduated from Eastland Career Center and has been working in the dental field since 2005. Desiree uses her experiences as a patient coordinating supervisor and dental assistant (in general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, etc.) to provide our patients with the best possible care. She appreciates how a healthy smile changed her life and wants all of our patients to have the same experience. Whether you’re at the office to get a cleaning, filling, or are having X-Rays taken, you will most likely be greeted with Desiree's smiling face. She’ll help you to your room and make sure you are ready for your appointment and comfortable during your visit with Dr. Monica, Ciera, or Rachel. Desiree's message to our patients: 'I know how important it is for our patients to be greeted with a smile. I want nothing more than for them to feel comfortable and at ease during their appointments, while they see first-hand how much we care for their dental health.' Desiree, her husband (Vinnie), daughter (Zariah), and 2 stepsons (Vinnie Jr. and Maliq) love spending time with their big families and congregation.
